Our program allows you to observe and engage with professional physiotherapists, gaining valuable insights into the daily responsibilities and rewards of this dynamic field. 

Shadowing a physiotherapist at GoMove Physio offers numerous benefits, including:

During your shadowing experience with GoMove Physio, you will:

• Observe Patient Interactions: Watch how our physiotherapists assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a variety of conditions.
• Learn About Techniques: See first-hand the use of different physiotherapy techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and electrotherapy.
• Ask Questions: Engage with our physiotherapists to learn more about their educational background, career paths, and day-to-day responsibilities.

Q: How long does the shadowing experience last?
A: The duration of the shadowing experience can vary, typically ranging from one day up to three days, depending on availability and scheduling.

Q: How old do I have to be to apply and shadow?

A: You must be at least 16 years of age. Students who are under 18 will need parent/guardian consent.

Q: Is there a fee for the shadowing program?
A: No, our shadowing program is free of charge for all students.

Q: What should I wear during the shadowing experience?
A: We recommend business casual attire. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are also advisable, as you may be standing or walking for extended periods.

Q: Will I be able to interact directly with patients?
A: As a shadowing participant, you will primarily be observing. Direct interaction with patients will be limited and always under the supervision of a licensed physiotherapist.
