ChairFLEX Exercise Class

ChairFLEX is suitable for adults without medical conditions that contraindicate chair-based exercises (please ask your GP if unsure). We encourage you to ensure you are fit for exercise, as we do not provide comprehensive individual health screenings.

How to Join:

• Register Online: Limited spots available.
• Time: Every first Wednesday of the month. Class starts at 2 PM, join 10 minutes early.
• Platform: Classes are held on ZOOM—link sent via email (check junk/spam) & save the email with the virtual class link to find easily during the day. Additionally, ensure to create a Zoom account in advance.
• Booking: Book one session at a time to avoid confusion with different class link dates.
• Cancellations/Rescheduling: You can cancel or reschedule easily online through your account.

• Gentle Movements: Our exercises are designed to improve flexibility and range of motion, making them easy to follow for participants of all levels.
• Strength Building: Low-impact exercises will help you build and maintain strength.
• Seated and Standing Options: We offer both seated and standing variations, allowing you to participate comfortably at your own pace.
• Family-Friendly: We encourage you to invite family or friends to join the class and support you. 
• Optional Equipment to Bring: resistance bands, ankle weights, dumbbells, water bottles, a small ball or clothes peg.

We understand that some participants may face challenges with technology or have significant cognitive, communication or mobility difficulties. 

If this is the case, we encourage you to invite a family member or friend to join and assist with navigation or support during the exercises.

ChairFLEX is a general fitness class, not physiotherapy, rehabilitation, or medical treatment. Participation does not create a formal physiotherapist-patient relationship or clinical duty of care. You or your support system are responsible for monitoring your own health and consulting your GP if you have medical concerns. 

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, GoMove Physio and the instructors of ChairFLEX exclude liability for any loss, damage, or injury, except where caused directly by our negligence.
